Advanced MK traders will understand the importance and meaning of the DM tolerance. Obviously, without such a degree of tolerance, the price would often “get stuck” and not move as much; for example, several stop-runs would be skipped if the DM would be “in the way”.

In the “best” case, the SM can conduct a stop-hunt without any DM traders in the way that are placed “correctly”. In such a scenario there is no need to exploit the “time and range principle” toomuch.
However, in the other scenario where for example breakout traders try to trade towards the actual target,
countermoves are done first.
